Who are the employers in the USA Work & Travel Program?

The USA Work & Travel employers include national and amusement parks, ski resorts, retailers, restaurant and fast-food chains, hotels and many other companies located throughout the United States. SIVUX provides them with enthusiastic and motivated international staff in various seasonal and temporary job positions.

USA Work & Travel Program Summary

SIVUX partners with organizations who are designated by the U.S. Department of State to sponsor participants in an exchange visitor program under the USA Work & Travel Program. This gives us a chance to offer many US businesses a different and rewarding solution for their employment needs during the peak of the summer or winter season.

  • All participants on the USA Work & Travel program are university students with strong English skills who are authorized to accept employment in the United States for up to 4 months.
  • The participants enroll in the program during the period that coincides with their official summer holiday in their home country.
  • The program covers two distinct seasons in the US. The Summer Season is available for participants from the northern hemisphere with dates May 1st to October 15 st. The Winter Season is available for the southern hemisphere participants, running from November 15 to April 15. After finishing their work commitment, participants have an optional travel period to sightsee and further explore the American landscape.
